The Infoliterate Manifesto
Information Literacy is the last, best hope for the long-term health of the academic library, and by extension rigorous scholarly inquiry in higher education. As author of Infoliterate.com I will discuss and critique new information literacy literature, speak truth to power, and explore the opportunities to be found for the academic library at the intersection of Information Literacy and Student success. I will also share the occasional anecdote of life as an academic librarian and doctoral student. Finally, there will be photos of cats. Gotta have photos of cats.
